Open by default. Black boxes, rewritten as math.
Each project starts with something the browser keeps closed, like gestures, scroll or rendering, and rebuilds it as small, plain computation you can run anywhere. Most of it started as something our own products needed.
The pattern comes from Pretext, Cheng Lou's proof that text measurement doesn't need the DOM.

Every gesture library listens to DOM events, so it only works in a browser with real elements.
The rewrite
A gesture is a pattern in (x, y, t) points. Classify the points and it runs anywhere: Canvas, WebGL, Node, a session replay.

Every website scrolls with the same mass, friction and inertia. You can smooth it, but you can't change the physics.
The rewrite
Scroll is position += velocity, velocity *= friction. Own that loop and every section can have its own feel, magnets and walls.

Rendering a component to an image means shipping headless Chromium, or accepting a CSS subset.
The rewrite
Layout, text and pixels are all math. Chain Yoga, Pretext and Skia and you get images from JSX in plain Node.
