What didn't work (yet)

The honest part.

  • Organic search visits are flat: 781 in the 30 days before we started, 776 in the latest 30 (GA4). The ranking gains are real, but they haven't turned into more visits yet.
  • Clicks followed the same line: 464 in the first 30 days, 425 in the latest 30 (-8%, GSC). Most impressions are commercial searches where Beast sits around position 21, and on-page work alone won't move those; the next gains need off-site work this plan doesn't cover.
  • Rankings move: top-10 positions were 17 on 17 Aug and 15 on 3 Sep.
  • Director bios, a Burger King case-study page and some reporting in the plan are still to ship. The client's month-one review also caught redirects pointing to the wrong pages, which we fixed.

Next: Turning page-one rankings into clicks: titles and snippets for the terms that now rank, and the case-study pages buyers look for.
